Weigh In Monday

So, Today was weigh in Monday and I weighed in a 282lbs. That means, well you know what that means don't you? I grabbed my food journal put today's date on it and then started again and did really well today. It's still really busy at work and so eating today without feeding my cravings was easy. Being home without eating the bowl of Halloween candy has been pretty good too. I wrote down each type of candy I bought and the amount of calories in each pack. Then I was able to make a good choice for me. If I wanted to eat candy that is.

So, it's Halloween and I've enjoyed watching these little ones tonight. So excited when I placed a bag of skittles, Reese's pieces or M&M's in their bags. The big kids were excited to be out and loading up on sugar. They did a great job this year of dressing up. I don't really have a issue with the big kids IF they take the time to dress up.

I do have a hard time with parents of toddlers dressing up and taking their little ones trick or treating with two bags. One for THEM and one of the the kiddos. WHAT THE FREAK? Grow up people!!

I wanted to share this little treat with you. White chocolate covered strawberries with funny faces on them. I love the way the steams look like wild and crazy hair. I also saw some strawberries that were made to look like baseballs for the World Series. So cute!! Great for a boys birthday party.

So, I believe I shared with you that I got a new puppy. Didn't I? Her name is Baby Ruth and she is a beautiful black Corgi. Baby Ruth is 5 years old and a Mama's Dog. She loves to snuggle close to you and she really really love to look deeply in your eyes and speak to your soul. We were lucky to find her and rescue her and bring her to her "furever" home.

Don't you just LOVE this picture? I don't run. Can't run, well I can run, but choose not to unless someone is chasing me. Or that creepy music plays in the background and I hear that "Jason" cha cha cha sound..then I will run. But I dream that I can run. I have dreamed that I run and run and run and it's so exciting. When I saw this picture, I deep belly laughed because this would be totally me. HAHAHAHAHAH It just cracks me up every time I see it.

Well, It's my 41st birthday week. Yup, the ole girl will be 41 on Thursday. Mama is coming into town tomorrow and I'm so excited to see her. Yes, they were just here for The Boys graduation so when she called to say she was coming I was really excited. I just wish Daddy was coming too.

Yes, there is still so much to update ya'll on and I will get to that. There is also so much coming up and I can't to update you on that too.
